Egypt condemns the Knesset’s approval of a law allowing the return of dismantled settlements

Egypt has condemned the Israeli Knesset’s approval of a bill allowing the return of settlers to four settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories that were dismantled in 2005. And it stressed, in a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that settlement activity in all its forms and manifestations is “illegal and lacks any legitimacy, which is confirmed by the decisions of international legitimacy and the rules of international law.” The statement explained.
