Weather forecast for first day of Ramadan

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority published, in a statement on its official Facebook page, for weather forecast on Thursday, March 23, 2023, the first day of Ramadan 2023.

Light to medium rains are predicted on areas of the northwestern coasts and north of Lower Egypt at intermittent periods. Chances of rain persist in areas of southern Lower Egypt at Intermittent intervals. Intermittent active wind is also expected on areas of the northwest coast.

Weather will be hot during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and the south of the country, while warm temperatures are predicted on the northern coasts. Cool weather is expected at night in most parts of the Republic.

Maximum temperatures predicted on Thursday:

Cairo and Lower Egypt 25C

North Coasts 22C

South Sinai 28C

Northern Upper Egypt 29C

Southern Upper Egypt 30C

In a previous statement, tge Authority announced the end of the winter season Monday, March 20, 2023, and the beginning of the spring season which will continue for 92 days, 17 hours and 13 minutes.
