The artist’s brother, Sherine, passed away after great suffering and a struggle with illness. A friend of the artist, Sherine, wrote a post, through his personal account on the social networking site Facebook, in which he said: “Professor Adel Shaaban, the older brother of the dear, dear artist, the star Sherine, passed away to God’s mercy a short while ago. I do not see you hated God.
