India is the first buyer of the Russian S-500 missile system

 

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said that India could become the first buyer of the Russian S-500 anti-aircraft missile system.

“Of course, after we supply our army with these weapons in the required quantity, India will be first on the list if it expresses its desire to buy these modern weapons,” he said.

Earlier, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, Valery Gerasimov, said that more than 95% of the country’s ground-based strategic nuclear forces launchers are ready for combat use.

He also said that the Strategic Missile Forces are continuing to re-equip the Yaris complexes, and the Avangard missile system launchers are ready for combat use.
