A man swallows 15 cm nails to hide evidence from the police

 

A Chinese resident swallowed 15 cm long nails he had stolen from a store. To hide evidence from the police.

According to media reports, the accident occurred in eastern China in Liaoning Province. The man stole nails from the store but police officers caught him. Wanting to hide his involvement in the crime, the Chinese man swallowed the stolen property in front of the policemen.

At first, the detainee refused to go to the hospital, but the police managed to convince the man that he might die with nails in the stomach. After he was taken to the clinic, the doctors performed an operation and removed the nails from the patient’s body.

In addition, the police indicated that the detainee’s attempt to conceal evidence would become an aggravating circumstance in the sentence. Now the man is in custody and awaiting trial.
