Washington is ready to lift sanctions on Tehran

US Permanent Representative to the United Nations Linda Thomas Greenfield said at a meeting of the organization that the United States is fully prepared to lift sanctions on Iran, which are inconsistent with Washington’s commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

Thomas Greenfield said US President Joe Biden has made clear he is ready to return to Washington’s compliance with its JCPOA commitments, but only if Iran does the same.

In this regard, the countries indicated their readiness to lift sanctions that contradict their commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
It is noteworthy that Iran will get economic benefits from the deal.

Earlier, it was reported that US Presidential Adviser Jake Sullivan will go to Israel to discuss the “nuclear” agreement with Iran.
