Syrian air defense destroys 7 Israeli missiles targeting Damascus airport

 

“Interfax” reported that on Thursday, the Israeli Air Force hit targets near Damascus airport with eight cruise missiles.

The deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria, Admiral Vadim Kolet, said: “On December 16, from 01:51 to 01.59, four tactical combat aircraft of the Israeli Air Force bombed from the airspace over the Golan Heights with eight cruise missiles. Near Damascus International Airport.

According to the admiral, the air defense forces of Syria with the help of the Russian-made Pantsir-S complexes managed to shoot down seven of the eight missiles.

He also said that during the Israeli airstrike, a warehouse of material possessions was damaged, and one person was killed.
