“Spider-Man” sets a record for its first day at the box office

The box office of Spider-Man: No Way Home on the first day after its premiere set a record among all films released in December at the American cinema chain AMC Entertainment Holdings.

The film’s US premiere took place on December 16; In less than two days, it has been watched by 1.1 million people.

According to AMC, the film ranks second on the overall list of highest-grossing premieres, after only another superhero film in the Marvel Universe, 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
