Chris Noth fired from The Equalizer after rape accusations

Actor Chris Noth will retire from The Equalizer after three women accused him of sexual assault. This was stated by the Hollywood Reporter in reference to the production company Universal Television, which is filming “Equalizer” and broadcasting the series on CBS Television.

Universal Television and CBS announced, “Chris Noth will not appear in additional episodes of The Equalizer starting today.”

In The Equalizer, Noth, best known for his role as Mr. Big in the TV series Sex and the City, played the former director of the Central Intelligence Agency.

Nuth was accused of rape by three women. One of them worked in a company with which the artist collaborated. Another victim said she met the Sex and the City star at the cabaret where she worked as a waitress. The third victim was a hostess and singer at the Da Marino restaurant in New York that the actor visited.
