TikTok surpasses Google and Facebook in 2021

The portal Cloudflare, announced that the social networking site TikTok has become the most visited in 2021. The Chinese social network managed to overtake Google.com – the leader of 2020.

TikTok, which is used to watch and create short videos, first took the lead in February 2021 and has largely taken the lead since August, according to Cloudflare research. Last year, the social network ranked seventh on the list.

The second site this year is Google, followed by the social networking site Facebook.

The rating also includes sites from Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, YouTube, Twitter and WhatsApp.

Over the year, the total volume of mobile Internet traffic on social networks as a whole doubled. Instagram accounts for about 35.5% of the traffic consumed, followed by VKontakte and TikTok, which occupy 28% and 24%, respectively.
