Erdogan calls Turkey a “rising star”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that political successes make the country a “rising star” nowadays.

“Turkey is a rising star in the 21st century, thanks to a well-thought-out policy, it has become one of the two countries whose economic growth in the first year of the epidemic was positive,” Erdogan said.

According to him, when the party came to power, the reserves of the Central Bank of Turkey were 27.5 billion dollars, and the debts to the International Monetary Fund were 23.5 billion dollars, but now the country has 120 billion dollars, and the debts to the International Monetary Fund have been repaid.

He added that Turkey’s GDP growth in 2021 will be double-digit.
