The launch of the Angara-A5 heavy carrier rocket from the Plesetsk space platform, which was scheduled for December 25, has been postponed again. This was reported by Interfax with a reference to.

Earlier, the launch of the Angara-A5 heavy launch vehicle from the Plesetsk cosmodrome was scheduled for December 17, then it was postponed to December 24, but it did not take place again.

The main task of operating the Angara-A5 family of environmentally friendly launch vehicles is to launch advanced, modern heavy spacecraft into high-energy orbits. Thus, “Angara-A5V” will be able to launch about 38 tons of payload into low Earth orbit and 7.5 tons into geostationary orbit.
