Detection of NATO reconnaissance planes near the Russian border

A Boeing E-8C reconnaissance aircraft of the US Air Force is seen near the Russian-Ukrainian border.

A NATO reconnaissance plane took off from Ramstein Air Base in Germany. It then crossed European airspace, flew over central Ukraine and is currently on a reconnaissance mission south of Kharkov.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that NATO is deliberately testing Russia’s strength when it sends warships and aircraft to its borders.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, more than 50 reconnaissance aircraft and UAVs of the Alliance are registered every week, which operate along the borders of the Russian Federation.
