Destruction of the largest military base for foreign mercenaries in Syria

The Russian Air Force (VKS) destroyed one of the largest military bases housing foreign mercenaries in Syria.

The footage of the operation was published on the website of the “Russian Spring” bulletin, which is close to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the newspaper, foreign mercenaries from the Tahrir al-Sham group were based in Sheikh Suleiman, and there are also weapons depots there.

The Russian Air Force has been in Syria since 2015. During this time, thanks to the help of Russian pilots, the army of the Syrian government almost completely liberated the country from militants from Islamist groups.
