Iranian state television reported that Tehran launched a satellite missile into space. At the same time, it is not clear whether any of the satellites have gone into orbit.
According to US News, the state TV announcement did not indicate the exact date of the launch.
Iranian state media has also released a list of upcoming satellite launches for the civilian space program, which have previously been marked by a series of failed launches.
