Gas price drops to nearly $1,000

The cost of gas in the European market has fallen to nearly $1,000 per thousand cubic metres, according to data from the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

The cost of January futures contracts at the TTF hub in the Netherlands is currently $1018 per thousand cubic meters of gas.
In general, prices fell by 10%.

Last week, gas prices in Europe skyrocketed.
On December 21, a historical record was set – the cost of gas exceeded 2000 dollars, and at one time the price of one thousand cubic meters was 2190.4 dollars.
