Tunisia confirms “the Libyan file is a top priority”

The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Libyan file is at the top of its priorities and diplomatic moves, in coordination with the Libyans and regional and international partners.

In its final statement of its non-permanent membership in the Security Council, the Tunisian Foreign Ministry reiterated its adherence to international legitimacy, respect for the sovereignty of states, and non-interference in their internal affairs.

She also indicated that her mission contributed to extending the mandates of the United Nations peacekeeping missions in the world, and worked successfully to bring together views and strengthen the principles of dialogue and coordination among members of the Security Council in order to reach the desired solutions to the issues presented to the Council.
