The Brazilian president is hospitalized for the sixth time

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was admitted to the Villa Nova Star Hospital in Sao Paulo on the morning of January 3.

According to surgeon Antonio Luis Macedo, who treated the president in 2018 after he was stabbed, Bolsonaro is suspected of having a bowel obstruction. To confirm the diagnosis, it is necessary to pass tests.

According to Brazilian television, the president’s car arrived at the clinic around 2 am. Where he and his wife Michelle and daughter Laura were in the state of Santa Catarina, and from there the head of state arrived in São Paulo by helicopter.

In 2018, Jair Bolsonara was attacked with a knife during an election campaign. Since then, he has been hospitalized five times due to his injury.
