Russia supports the Black Sea Fleet in Crimea with a powerful warship

The new mine defense ship Georgy Kurbatov completed the transition from the Baltic Fleet to the main base of the Black Sea Fleet Sevastopol.

The Black Sea Fleet said in a statement that the ship confirmed its readiness to operate in stormy conditions.

With this, the number of new ships that arrived in Sevastopol is three.

The ship “Georgy Kurbatov” was built at the Sredne-Nevsky shipyard. Its payload is 890 tons, length – 61 m, width – 10 m, speed at full load is up to 16.5 knots. The crew of the ship includes more than 40 people.
