Foods that cause insomnia

Dietitian Elena Kalin explained which foods cause insomnia in humans.
She explained that these products include fried meat, tomatoes, eggplant, canned food, pickles, avocado and blue cheese.

Kalin says these foods are high in tyrranine, an amino acid that the body converts into the stress hormone.

The specialist said: “Its concentration in the blood increases in all stressful situations. As a result, we will feel excessively excited, and at night it will be difficult to sleep.”

She also advised not to eat celery and diuretic foods before bed.
