The killing of a UN coordinator in Turkey

Rescuers at the Erciyes ski resort in Turkey have found the body of a member of the United Nations Coordinator, Canadian Michael Krift.

According to Hürriyet newspaper, three people came to Kayseri from Gaziantep for skiing and fell under an avalanche in Hisardcık Kapa Valley.

Rescuers immediately found two people trapped in the ice and continued to search for a third skier at -25°C. They later found the body of Michael Krift, who was working in Gaziantep as a coordinating member of the United Nations.
