Three-week-old baby dies of complications from COVID-19

A three-week-old baby infected with the Corona virus died in Qatar. He had serious complications from COVID-19.
This was stated by TASS with reference to the message of the Ministry of Health in the emirate.

The emirate’s health ministry said in a statement that the three-week-old had died of a serious infection linked to COVID-19. She explained that the child did not have other diseases, including genetics.

It is noteworthy that this is the second child in Qatar to die from the Corona virus since the beginning of the epidemic.

The authorities indicated that in light of this wave of the epidemic, there are more infections among children.

The Ministry of Health urged everyone, including pregnant women, to immediately undergo a full vaccination against the virus – to get three doses of any of the drugs approved in the country.

Jamali Anatoly Alstein said that about 350-400 children in the Russian Federation have died from a new coronavirus infection since the beginning of the epidemic. Earlier, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Health reported that more than 30 thousand children infected with COVID-19 are now receiving medical care in Russia.
