Theft of a 500-meter-high bridge in the Turkish capital, Ankara

The Gemlikiz Bridge, which is five hundred meters high, located in the Turkish capital, Ankara, was stolen.

The media reported that the bridge, which was repaired in 1978, was dismantled by two road-building mechanisms, after which the metal was removed and sold elsewhere. It turns out that the demolition took place within four days, and the local residents did not contact the police, because they believed that the demolition of the bridge was done with the permission of the authorities and was carried out under a government tender.

And soon the perpetrator, who organized the illegal demolition of the building, was discovered by video surveillance cameras, and he was arrested. Presumably, for the sale of iron, he managed to earn more than 37 thousand dollars.
