Transgender Filipino-born actress Ivory Aquino will play the first Transgender character in DC Comics adaptations, Alicia Yeoh in ‘Batgirl’.
Alicia is a waitress and best friend of Batgirl.
It will feature an older Batman, played by Michael Keaton, and Commissioner James Gordon, played by J.K. Simmons. The main opponent of Firefly will be Brendan Fraser.
The film will premiere on HBO Max in late 2022.
Leslie Grace will play Batgirl.
