The Armed Forces of Russia and Belarus have started joint military exercises “Allied Resolution – 2022”, which are taking place at the training grounds of Domanovsky, Guzsky, Obuz Lisnovsky, Brestsky and Osipovsky.
“During the phase of combat coordination in the training grounds, work is carried out on issues of defense management and the fight against illegal armed groups,” said the official website of the Ministry of Defense.
The exercises will take place in two stages. From February 2 to February 9, units will redeploy, form groups of forces, organize the protection and defense of important government and military installations.
It is also planned to check the readiness of the air defense to carry out missions to cover important objects on the territory of Belarus.
From February 10 to February 20, the allied forces will work on “issues of suppression and repulsion of external aggression”, as well as the fight against terrorism and the protection of the interests of the Union state.
