Transgender star Tommy Dorfman divorces his husband
The transgender actress’s husband, Tommy Dorfman, has filed for divorce, TMZ reports, citing documents that Peter Zurculin filed with a Los Angeles court.
Zorkulin and Dorfman have been married for five years and have known each other for about 17 years.
Prior to the transformation, Dorfman played one of the main characters in the teenage series 13 Reasons Why, Ryan Schaeffer.
He also took part in the projects “Insatiable”, “Love, Victor”, “American Princess” and “Virgin”.
In July 2021, Tommy Dorfman came out as a transgender woman, said she had been in transition for a year, and requested to be addressed in a female form. In addition, she indicated that her relationship with her husband is now changing.
The actress said, “I love him a lot, but as a transgender woman, I’m looking for a partner who doesn’t have to be a gay man.
