Cottage cheese prevents heart attacks

Dr. Mikhail Ginzburg, nutritionist and rehabilitation doctor Sergei Agapkin said that if you eat fatty cottage cheese (5 to 18%) daily, you can reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, including heart attacks.

Health experts explained that “milk fat contains a small amount of PTA. The greater its presence in the blood, the lower the body mass index and the higher the good cholesterol content.”

Doctors also note that dairy products are saturated with methionine, an amino acid that regulates fat metabolism.

Ginsburg and Agapkin also added, that cottage cheese contains fats saturated with vitamins, especially groups A and D. They are responsible for the absorption of calcium in the human body.

However, medical experts advised to eat no more than 150-200 grams of cottage cheese per day.
