COVID-19 attacks Erdogan and his wife
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he and his wife, Emine, had contracted the Omicron strain of coronavirus.
Erdogan wrote on Telegram: “Today my wife and I were tested for COVID-19 after the first symptoms were detected. It turned out to be positive.”
“We discovered that this is a variant of an omicron.”
According to Erdogan, he and his wife have mild infections with a new type of coronavirus, and they do not need to be hospitalized.
“We are waiting for your prayers,” Erdogan added in his message.
“We will continue our work at home.”
