NATO denies providing direct military support to Ukraine

NATO Deputy Secretary-General Mircea Guyana said that there is no division in the alliance regarding aid issues to Ukraine.

Jiwana said: We don’t have a split within the coalition. NATO does not provide direct military support to Ukraine.

According to him, the decision of some NATO members to supply them with arms should not lead to a split in the allies. Jiwan added that the coalition decided to send a team of cyber security experts to Ukraine to combat Russian disinformation.

Earlier, it was reported that three NATO military transport planes have flown to Ukraine.

Since the second half of this month, American and British heavy transport aircraft have already made at least 15 flights to Ukraine to supply it with weapons and military equipment.
