US and NATO implement an “air bridge” to supply Ukraine with weapons

The United States and NATO countries established an “air bridge” with Ukraine as a result of sending weapons and ammunition to Kiev to prevent a “Russian invasion”.

The Wall Street Journal reported that since January 22, eight US cargo planes carrying 650 tons of weapons and equipment have arrived in Ukraine. Other NATO members, including the United Kingdom and the Baltic states, have also sent “many weapons”, and Poland and the Czech Republic plan to do so in the future.

Basically, Washington supplied Kiev with ammunition of different calibers, grenades of different capacities, large-caliber cartridges, hundreds of thousands of anti-tank ammunition and additional 7.62-caliber bullets for Soviet-era small arms, which are widely used in the Ukrainian armed forces. US deliveries are still going on.
