The Russian Navy develops an “invisible” ship

The Central Design Bureau of Naval Engineering Robin submitted a project for the Sentinel patrol ship capable of sinking underwater.

Robin’s Central Design Bureau said the new designs with a wave-perforated stem and occluded sides reduce tilt, increase the ship’s stability as a weapon platform, and also reduce radar visibility.

“This is the larger version, with a length of about 72 meters and a normal displacement of about 1,300 tons. The increase in size allows the modification to be offered with more functionality.”

According to representatives of the enterprise, the first version of the ship was developed in 2021, the ship will reach speeds of 21 knots on the surface.
