US bans journalists from joining forces sent to Europe

CNN reported. That the journalists were not given permission to be assigned to US military personnel who were sent to Europe as part of NATO’s bolstering position.

Several specialist websites, such as Military.com, Military Times and Task & Purpose, have sent a letter to the Pentagon asking them to “immediately begin the process of issuing permits to journalists.”

The sites assert that US citizens have a right to know “what their troops do and how their taxes are spent.”

According to the channel, some journalists suspect that the president’s National Security Council does not want to allow journalists access to the troops.
