Russian Defense: ISIS fighters have left Syria, to the United States, Canada, and European Union countries

Admiral Oleg Guravlev, deputy head of the Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria, said the National Security Agency received information about the departure of pardoned ex-ISIS militants with US support for Syria.

The brigadier general said: “The Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties has received information about the departure of pardoned ex-ISIS militants with the support of the United States – the Syrian Arab Republic, and who were previously held in places of detention controlled by the Kurdish administration.

According to him, ex-combatants using false passports leave Syria for the United States, Canada and European Union countries.

Earlier, Zhuravlev said that the leaders of the secret gang were planning sabotage operations against government officials and facilities in the Syrian provinces of Homs, Damascus, Daraa and As-Suwayda.

According to him, the Russian Center for Reconciliation continues work aimed at a non-military solution to the situation and provide more comprehensive assistance to Syrian citizens in restoring a peaceful life.
