Brent crude price breaks the record

The cost of Brent oil has exceeded $95 a barrel.
According to trading data on the London Stock Exchange ICE. The daily cost of Brent crude rose 4% to $95.06 a barrel. The last time the price of this grade exceeded $95 a barrel was in October 2014.

The cost of West Texas Intermediate crude during trading rose 5.01% to $94.38 a barrel.

The price of the Urals in Northwest Europe – the Rotterdam Sword – rose by $4.66 to $95.12 a barrel. The numbers were the highest since September 17, 2014 – then prices reached $96.18 a barrel.

The price of a barrel of oil is expected to rise sharply if the geopolitical crisis escalates in eastern Ukraine. , where the price will exceed the critical threshold of $100.
