US begins evacuating its diplomats from Kiev

Acting Chargé d’Affairs to Ukraine Christina Quinn and other US diplomats have been evacuated from Kiev to Lvov.

According to the European Pravda Bulletin. “The main team of the embassy, heads of departments and others will work in Lviv,” said a source in the US diplomatic corps. He noted that such a decision was taken in connection with a change in security assessments in Ukraine.

The source said that US diplomats will return to Kiev as soon as the security situation allows. He added that the technical staff in Kiev will continue their work to ensure the security of the US embassy building.

The German newspaper Bild also reported that the US Embassy in Kiev, began burning documents and destroying secret equipment.
