Law enforcement officers in the US state of New Mexico reported that an unknown person attacked a group of people with a knife, injuring 11 people.
The attack took place in the city of Albuquerque, the perpetrator acted alone. The offender used a BMX bike. The police do not rule out that the man had committed several attacks in different parts of the city.
“The only suspect in custody,” the police statement said.
“Officers are investigating seven possible scenes…with reports of 11 victims who sustained stab wounds. All victims are in stable condition.”
The wounded were taken to four hospitals. The police worked all night to make sure there were no accomplices.
