Earthquakes hit Birmingham, floods head towards London

The British Geological Survey announced that a 2.8-magnitude earthquake struck the West Midlands.

The BBC reports that the tremors were felt up to 20 kilometers from the epicenter. Aftershocks from the earthquake were felt in cities such as Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Dudley.

No injuries or damages were reported from the earthquake.

At the same time, a flood was reported in the country. As water begins to flow behind flood protections along the River Severn at Bewdley in Worcestershire.
Meteorologists fear flooding caused by torrential rains could reach London.
