Ukraine requests urgent humanitarian aid

stated the European Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarcic. The Ukrainian authorities have sent an urgent request to the European Union to provide them with medical care.

In his tweet, he noted that after Russia “attacked Ukraine without any justification”, Kiev submitted an urgent request for medical help. Meanwhile, she called for the use of the European Union’s civil protection mechanism.
