Catastrophic storms and floods in Australia

The Intergovernmental Council on Climate Change, according to the Guardian, has reached the conclusion that the climate in Australia will worsen in the near future due to global warming.

According to experts, the continent faces extreme events exacerbated by carbon dioxide emissions – heat waves, droughts, floods, cyclones and fires, which in turn lead to death, injury, financial and psychological stress. Its impact on nature, society, and the economy has recently been exacerbated.

Climatologists note that despite the fact that many changes in the climate have already occurred irreversibly, as evidenced by the increased incidence of floods and droughts in the country, if urgent measures are taken, the economy will be easier to adapt to environmental changes.
