Huge fire extinguished at nuclear plant in Ukraine

The fire in the training complex for the training of repair personnel of the station, laboratory and rest building of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Plant was completely eliminated.

The statement of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said that the fire was eliminated, and “there are no casualties or injured.”

The fire started in the training complex for the training of repair personnel of the station, laboratory and utility building – buildings located separate from the power plant itself.

This was recognized by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, where they also indicated that the radiation background in the Zaporozhye region is within the normal range.
