For the second time: France urges its citizens to leave Russia urgently

In a statement issued by the French Foreign Ministry, for the second time this week, French citizens were called to leave Russia.

The statement reads: “Travel to or from the Russian Federation is seriously hampered by the closure of the airspace between Russia and the member states of the European Union. In addition, on March 8, on the recommendation of Russian civil aviation, Aeroflot announced the suspension of all its international flights. It is highly recommended That the presence of French citizens, and of their families, should not be obligatory in Russia, leave the country while this is still possible.”

The statement also recommended refraining from possible trips to Russia.
