Rebecca Ross, a spokeswoman for the US embassy in Russia, said she is on the list of US diplomats declared persona non grata by Russian authorities.
“Yes, I’m on the list,” the spokeswoman answered the question.
According to media sources, the decision to expel Ross is due to the ban on entry of her Russian colleague to the United States.
Earlier, Reuters, citing the US State Department, wrote that the United States had approved the arrival of a special plane to transport 12 Russian diplomats, declaring them persona non grata.
