US deploys armored battalion in Lithuania
In order to contain Russia, the United States will deploy an armored battalion in Lithuania, according to Defense Minister Arvidas Anosuskas.

“We have sufficient units of NATO allies for effective deterrence,” the minister specified.
Anususkas indicated that Germany will send an air defense unit to Lithuania, and that the Netherlands clarifies the timetable for renewing its military presence in the republic.
“Until the end of the month, about 4,000 Allied soldiers will be in Lithuania,” Anosuskas said.
