Announcing the final list of French presidential candidates

The President of the French Constitutional Council, Laurent Fabius, announced the final list of candidates for the presidential elections in April 2022.

It included the current president of the country, Emmanuel Macron, the head of the regional council of the Ile-de-France region, Valerie Pecres, the leader of the National Rally party, Marine Le Pen. and far-right Eric Zemmour.

Of the left and liberal forces, which, according to analysts, have the least chance of success in these elections, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, leader of the Unconquered France movement, Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris and representative of the Socialist Party, Fabien Roussel and Trotskyist Nathalie Artaud.

It is also scheduled to be included in the ballot. Jean LaSalle, Nicholas Dupont Aignan and Yannick Gadot.
