USA deploys additional forces in Europe

There are currently 100,000 US troops in Europe, and a decision was made over the weekend to deploy an additional 500 troops.

“Over the weekend, the head of the Pentagon ordered the deployment of 500 additional troops to Europe,” a Pentagon spokesman said.

The Pentagon also said it was continuing military supplies to Ukraine despite difficulties in delivering them.

“Over the weekend, they received additional supplies from the United States and other countries… We do not air cargo to Ukraine, because there is an ongoing struggle for control of the airspace,” the ministry said, adding that the United States continues to divert its military aid package to Ukraine.
