Taliban congratulate women on International Women’s Day

The Taliban congratulated the women on International Women’s Day. Which is celebrated on the eighth of March.

The statement from the Afghan foreign ministry said the hostilities in the country had had a “harmful” impact on the lives of local women. The Taliban government now hopes to provide “dignified and favorable” living conditions for Afghan women.

Earlier, the head of the United Nations Children’s Fund – UNICEF – Catherine Russell said the Taliban are showing a willingness to allow girls to return to school.
