Hackers infiltrate Russian government websites

Hackers have penetrated the websites of a number of Russian government agencies, notably the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Digital Development, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), the Federal Prison Service (FSIN) and Rosstat.

Pictures of tanks and military flags, as well as Russian and Ukrainian flags, appeared on the main pages of the sites.

According to TASS, DDoS attacks slowed down the work of the website of the Ministry of Culture, and specialists are currently carrying out technical work to restore the resource.

Previously, hackers infiltrated a number of major Russian media, including TASS, Kommersant and Izvestia. The hacker group Anonymous claimed responsibility for the incident.

Later, the Killnet group hacked the Anonymous website, which declared electronic war on Russia. They broadcast a video on it, in which Killnet stated that the Internet is full of fake information about cyber-attacks on Russia, but do not panic, these are just statements, and advised anonymous hackers to restore their site, because it “looks pathetic against the background” of their threats.
