The US Navy conducts exercises with a German frigate in the Baltic Sea

The Sixth Fleet of the US Navy announced that two US missile destroyers, which entered the Baltic Sea, conducted joint exercises with a German frigate.

The fleet stated that the American destroyers Forrest Sherman and Donald Cook and the German air defense frigate Sachsin participated in the exercises.

According to the fleet’s message, “US Navy ships in the European Area of ​​Responsibility are regularly operating in the international waters of the Baltic Sea in support of our allies and NATO partners in the region.”

On March 7, the National Defense Monitoring Center of the Russian Federation reported that the Russian army began tracking the two US warships Donald Cook and Forrest Sherman, which had entered the Baltic Sea.

The next day, the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Federation, against the background of the entry of American destroyers into the Baltic Sea, announced exercises with anti-ship missile systems.
