After a difficult two-year battle with cancer, Mike Mora, husband of singer Kelis, dies.
The management team of the 42-year-old “milkshake” singer has confirmed the death of her husband, photographer, at the age of 37, after battling cancer.
“Unfortunately, it is true that Mike Mora is dead,” Steve Satterthwaite said. “We ask everyone to respect the privacy of Kelis and her family as of now. Thank you.”
A representative for Kelis also confirmed in a statement, “After a tough two-year battle with cancer, we are shocked to confirm the loss of our beloved brother Mike.”
“A wonderful father, husband and friend who has given so much attention to his family and friends with sincerity and great care. During this difficult time, we ask that you respect the privacy of Kelis and her family at this time.”
