Elon Musk predicts a landing on Mars in 2029

Elon Musk believes that humanity will set foot on Mars for the first time before the end of this decade.

One of the billionaire’s Twitter followers asked him when the first crew would land on Mars. The head of Tesla and SpaceX was terse and replied: “2029”

In 2016, the entrepreneur already predicted that humanity will land on Mars in 2026. Apparently, it is now considered that these deadlines are far off.

Some users commented that even 2029 seems ambitious and there is still a lot that needs to be done to pave the way for such a task.

Subject to regulatory approval, the Starship launch vehicle could make its first orbital test flight in the next few months.
